Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

1. Introduction

The International Journal of Strategic Research and Review (IJSRR-CISR) is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Corporate Institute of Strategic Research. We welcome original research articles, reviews, and theoretical contributions that advance knowledge in strategic research, innovation, leadership, and related fields. These guidelines provide authors with the necessary information to prepare and submit manuscripts for consideration.

2. Scope and Focus

IJSRR-CISR publishes research across a broad spectrum of disciplines, including but not limited to: management sciences, education, agriculture, entrepreneurship, technical and science education, security management, strategic studies, innovation, leadership, environment engineering and green/renewable energy. We encourage submissions that are theoretically sound, methodologically rigorous, and contribute to the advancement of knowledge.

3. Manuscript Preparation

  • Language: Manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English.
  • File Format: Submit manuscripts as a Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) file.
  • Manuscript Length: Research articles should typically not exceed 8,000 words, including abstract, references, tables, and figures. Review articles and theoretical contributions may vary in length.
  • Font and Spacing: Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced, with 1-inch margins on all sides.
  • Page Numbering: Number all pages consecutively, starting with the title page.
  • Title Page: The title page should include:
    • Title of the manuscript
    • Full names and affiliations of all authors
    • Corresponding author's email address and contact information
    • An abstract of no more than 250 words
    • Keywords (3-5 keywords)
  • Abstract: The abstract should summarize the purpose, methods, key findings, and implications of the research.
  • Headings: Use clear and concise headings and subheadings to organize the manuscript.
  • Tables and Figures:
    • Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively and placed within the text.
    • Provide clear and concise captions for all tables and figures.
    • Ensure that tables and figures are of high quality and easily readable.
  • Equations and Formulas: Use appropriate mathematical notation and clearly define all variables.
  • Abbreviations: Define all abbreviations at first use.

4. Citation and Referencing

IJSRR-CISR uses the APA (American Psychological Association) 7th edition citation style.

In-Text Citations:

  • Single Author: (Smith, 2020)
  • Two Authors: (Smith & Jones, 2021)
  • Three or More Authors: (Smith et al., 2022)
  • Direct Quotations: (Smith, 2020, p. 45)

Reference List:

  • The reference list should be placed at the end of the manuscript, in alphabetical order by author's last name.
  • Use a hanging indent for each reference.

  • Journal Article:

  • Book:

5. Ethical Guidelines

  • Originality: Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  • Plagiarism: IJSRR-CISR uses plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism will be rejected.
  • Authorship: All authors must have made a significant contribution to the research and agree to the submission.
  • Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
  • Human and Animal Subjects: Research involving human or animal subjects must comply with ethical guidelines and obtain appropriate approvals.

6. Submission Process

  • Submit manuscripts electronically through the journal's online submission system at [Insert Website Address].
  • Follow the instructions provided on the website.
  • Ensure that all required files and information are included in the submission.

7. Peer Review Process

  • Manuscripts are subject to a double-blind peer-review process.
  • Reviewers evaluate the originality, significance, and methodological rigor of the research.
  • Authors will receive feedback from reviewers and may be asked to revise their manuscripts.

8. Publication Fees

  • A publication fee of $50 (per journal/publication) is required upon acceptance of the manuscript.

9. Copyright

  • Authors retain copyright and grant the Corporate Institute of Strategic Research (CISR) an exclusive license to publish the work, identifying CISR as the original publisher.
